Paragraphs are matched by their content, so a rewritten introduction doesn’t shift every paragraph style below it down by one. Blank spacer paragraphs you added for rhythm are kept.
Writers don’t see the page
Writers work in Google Docs, not on the page, so they can’t see when copy runs long. After a sync, overset text shows up in InDesign straight away, and the writer trims it in the Doc.
